Building long-lasting and practical furniture is a genuine passion of mine. Through my expertise in design and the use of everyday materials, I have developed an assortment of furniture pieces that exhibit both my woodworking abilities and aesthetic taste.
I built two identical wardrobes using the same Douglas Fir wood as the two tables. The wardrobes complement each other to make the most out of the small space. Each wardrobe is the other one’s door. Since I redecorate my living space so often, I wanted to be able to move them in whatever direction I wanted easily and quickly. I added wheels to the bottom to add that feature.
My coffee table perfectly complements the dining table. Like the dining table, it features a simple and sturdy design that emphasizes the natural beauty of the woods. The tabletop is made from a single piece of Douglas Fir arranged in a unique and eye-catching pattern while the legs are Western Red Cedar to finish the look.
CONCRETE LIGHT DIFFUSERS
COFFEE TABLE
To add some light fixtures to my house, I carefully planned the lamp's design to ensure that it would reflect the qualities I wanted to represent. I wanted the solidness and strength of concrete I selected concrete mixes, molds, and other necessary equipment. Next, I poured the concrete mix into the molds and allowed it to dry and cure for the appropriate amount of time. I then added the electrical components to the lamp, including the cord, bulb, and switch.
The finished product is a multi-functional lamp that embodies the spirit of resistance and power.
DINING TABLE
When I moved to a new house, I decided to build my own furniture. I used Douglas Fir wood for my dining table. The table features a sleek, modern design, clean lines, and a minimalist aesthetic. The tabletop is made from two slabs of Douglas fir, which I carefully selected and planned to ensure a smooth surface. The legs are constructed from Western Red Cedar and are tapered for added visual interest.
